This is our same Concealed Handgun License Class we run every month.  However this class is entirely on the weekend (See Civilian Personal Defense Class Schedule).  We run this class once or twice a year based on demand, for those individuals that have schedule conflicts that prevent them from taking our normal evening class.  The class will be 12-hours of classroom on Saturday and 3-hours of range time on Sunday.  The times are; 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Saturday, with a 1-hour lunch/dinner break.  You will be assigned one of two 3-hour range sessions on Sunday.  The morning session is; 9:00 AM– Noon and the afternoon session is 12:30 – 3:30PM.

For a description of the class, please see our Concealed Handgun License class on our website.  Keep in mind the normal four 3-1/2 evening class sessions are all rolled into this 12-hour Saturday class session for this weekend CHL class.  Bring your own handgun, or rent one from MOFTA for a small fee.

UTAH Conceal Carry License: MOFTA is one of the few places in Ohio you can receive the necessary certification to apply for a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (which non-Utah residents can apply for). This benefits you because of reciprocity and other legal agreements between states. If you have both Ohio and Utah concealed handgun licenses you can legally conceal and carry in up to 35 states.
